How to respond to Academic Task 1 in IELTS?
Examine the graph
You must first have a general understanding of the graph, chart, or diagram that you plan to depict.
To obtain a sense of how you will organise the information, look for broad patterns, abrupt shifts, and important characteristics.
Keep in mind that Academic Task 1 is designed to assess your capacity to recognise and describe the variations and trends you observe on the graph.
Don't worry if you believe there isn't enough information on the graph to write 150 words.
Write in-depth on each change and include a tonne of evidence to back up your points.
Additionally, do not freak out if you believe that the graph contains too much information.
Try to identify a few key trends rather than ornately representing each change on the graph.
